Manufacturing Day Tours and Expo
The Manufacturing Day planning committee, which consists of HR and academic professionals, invites employers to participate in our 2nd Manufacturing Day, October 2, 2015.
Our 1st MFG Day in April was a success, over 20 companies participated in tours and an expo hosting 105 students from 7 school districts. When initially asked students whether they were considering a career in manufacturing, 58 % of the students indicated No, by the close of the event 88% indicated Yes. 95% of students indicated they would recommend the event to a friend. Equally significant, 88% of the participating employers indicated they would sign up for the next Manufacturing Day.
